| FUNDING in Autism Treatment- #4 ABA vs. Son-Rise Program
www.autismhelp.com ABA is the treatment typically funded by school systems and offered by many schools and private therapists. Other treatments that are proven effective, such as The Son-Rise Program®, are usually excluded. As a result, parents may not be given the full range of choices they deserve in the most effective treatment for their child with Autism. ABA was formed by Dr. Ivar Lovaas in the 1980s (Lovass, 1987) from the branch of psychology known as Behaviorism, an outdated model in modern psychology. Nonetheless, many educational techniques, including ABA, that were spawned from Behaviorism still linger. Ivar Lovass' original study (1987) into the efficacy of this model and the subsequent follow up (mceachin, Smith and Lovass, 1993) followed 19 children who underwent 2 years of this behavioral training. No single attempt at replication (despite extensively detailed operational manuals) has been able to replicate the outcome of typical functioning (Rogers, 1998). Nonetheless, ABA is still widely funded, to the exclusion of programs that might be more effective, based in part on this outdated study. INTERESTING FACT The actor representing The Son-Rise Program in this video, also the script writer, is fully recovered from severe Autism himself. The Autism Treatment Center of America™ is home to The Son-Rise Program®, an effective treatment for children and adults challenged by Autism Spectrum Disorders, Pervasive Developmental Disorder (PDD), Asperger's Syndrome ... |

| Stop Funding Israel Call to Human Rights Commission
Tzipi Livni Arrest Warrant issued in UK. Suddenly it was overturned by an illegal intervention by an unknown person(s) or group(s) within the England Parliament. This is a very clear breach of English law and is also sending a very powerful message to all the politicians who supported CAST LEAD, that they were in fact according to an ENGLISH court complicit by their support in aiding War Crimes against GAZA and the Palestinian civilian population. YES. U heard right, Kevin Rudd, Malcolm Turnbull, Michael Danby..... in fact every Australian politician who supported the war crimes in GAZA in January 2009 can now be targetted under international law once they leave office under these international gevena conventions and Human Rights laws. I call up the HUMAN RIGHTS commission to set the record straight. Like a good oiled machine the operator tries to handball me away... But not before I get my point across and make him appear as a well trained monkey. Probably the best thing in this phone call is when he admits that Australian Governments have been for many years answerable to the ZIONISTS who are truly in charge. Listen in as I make yet another call to the Zionist occupied Government department and expose the apathy which is the Australian political process. |

| Seymour Hersh: US is funding Al-Qaeda to counter Iran - 4
Investigative reporter Seymour Hersh talks to Democracy Now about his explosive new article in the New Yorker Magazine. Hersh reports that John Negroponte's decision to resign as National Intelligence Director was made in part because of the Bush administration's covert actions including the funding of radical Sunni groups - some with strong ideological ties to al-Qaeda - to counter Shiite groups backed by Iran. Hersh also reports the Pentagon has established a special planning group to plan a bombing attack on Iran and US military and special-operations teams have already crossed the border into Iran in pursuit of Iranian operatives. The funding of Wahhabi/Salafi groups, often labeled Islamic fundamentalists in the media, is reminiscient of US policy in the Middle East especially through the mid-70s and early-80s which eventually gave rise to groups such as the Taliban. During this period US administrations, alongside Israel, promoted "fundamentalist" groups to create suitable conditions for their own interests in the region. In the case of the Israelis, their support of such groups was primarily with the aim to evade a settlement plan over Palestine. |
