Indian spiritual leader, His Holiness Sri Sri Ravi Shankar spoke at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Monday, October 19, in his only public speaking engagement in Israel. His Holiness Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, 53, is an internationally renowned spiritual leader whose mission of uniting the world into a violence-free family brought him to establish the non-profit 'Art of Living Foundation' in 1981, which offers self-help programs and is active in more than 140 countries. In 1997, HH Shankar further founded the non-profit 'International Association for Human Values', which advances human values and leads sustainable development projects. Sri Sri has reached out to an estimated 300 million people worldwide through personal interactions, public events and teachings and his expertise in brining together opposing parties to the negotiating table in Sri Lanka, Iraq, Cameroon and Kashmir is widely acknowledged. HH Sri Sri will be in Israel to participate in the President's Conference that is this year being organized in cooperation with the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. As part of his visit to Israel, he will also visit the Knesset, meet with business leaders, and deliver a number of courses, including spiritual techniques and meditation that, according to him, have already helped thousands of people around the world to overcome depression and violence. |

The Together We Can Change the World Song
|
We at Together We Can Change the World, Inc (TWCCTW) played a major role in bringing over an African Youth Choir called SIFA. All of the children are AIDS orphans. The goal was to raise money for the children to take back to Uganda in order to finish building their orphanage and to build new homes for them to live in. Their six month tour was a tremendous success. Every where they went people just fell in love with them. A very good friend of TWCCTW, Mark Shepard, wrote a song that describes the heart of what we do and why we built this company. Before the SIFA Choir left to go back to Uganda, we were able to get them and a young lady named Rilee O'Neill into a recording studio to lay down this song so it could get placed on an upcoming SIFA project and promoted by us. TWCCTW continues to raise and donate funds to build orphanages and help abused children around the world. Our goal is to put millions of dollars into the hands of non-profit organizations of all kinds. This song speaks right to the heart of our message to people everywhere.
