BOSTON (AP)—Those MVP! MVP! chants are usually reserved for LeBron James(notes) or one of Bostons Big Three. Rajon Rondo(notes) earned every one of them Sunday. The Boston point guard had 29 points, 18 rebounds and 13 assists, and the Celtics beat the Cleveland Cavaliers 97-87 on Sunday to even the Eastern Conference semifinal series at two games apiece. Still sometimes overlooked among the Celtics other All-Stars, Rondo is the reason his team is two wins away from knocking off the Easts No. 1 seed. I think it starts with Rondo. Hes kind of the engine that really gets them going, James said. He does everything for them. His performance was unbelievable. Rondo was definitely the difference maker. Rondo had a playoff career high in rebounds and matched his best scoring night in his fourth postseason triple-double. He played 47 minutes with some of his bigger-name teammates in foul trouble, and fans serenaded him with the chants as he knocked down a pair of free throws with 17 seconds left. He was absolutely sensational tonight, Boston coach Doc Rivers said. Rondo became the third player in playoff history to have at least 29 points, 18 rebounds and 13 assists according to the Elias Sports Bureau. Oscar Robertson had 32 points, 19 rebounds and 13 assists in 1963, and Wilt Chamberlain had 29 points, 36 rebounds and 13 assists in 1967. ah, read this before watching? i want to quickly apologise for a few things. first, i'm super duper sorry i made the clips go by a little too quickly. you'll probably need to pause to read. i'll try and get my timing right next time. second, i'm sorry it's so short. :( and third, i'm sorry this wasn't as good as you probably wanted it to be. for those of you that did want me to make this, i hope it reaches your expectations. :( answer a few questions for me, so i can improve the next ep? heh. 1.) was it easy or hard to read? 2.) is the setting okay, or is it distracting? [Madisons POV] I hadnt talked to Nick since that night, and its been a week. The boys had a concert tonight for the first time in a few weeks. I was going with dad. We left the house at five and headed to the venue. I missed tour a little bit, now that I think about it. Minus the drama. We arrived at the venue and walked backstage. I just kind of hung around, doing nothing, and waiting for the show to start. Ten minutes... five minutes... three minutes... The boys started warming up and whatnot. Nick looked over and half-smiled at me. I looked away... When it was time, they ran out on stage; triggering the thousands of screams. I stepped out from backstage a little so I could watch them. As always, they did perfect. Well, every now and then Joe would fall or something, but so far so great on this show. They played Burnin Up, Poison Ivy, and... yeah. You know. They had one more song to play until break, and I didnt recognize it at all. What the heck? "So this very new song is dedicated to a very, very special girl..." Nick said into the microphone as he sat at the piano. Screams erupted from the audience. "She's here tonight, so Maddy..." he paused. Me?! "...This ones for you." Here's Map44 of PSX Doom, Suburbs. IMHO, this is the best version of Doom, unless you count the XBox 360 version. Though I'm not necessarily going for 100% on every map (which on some maps is impossible due to glitches) I'll try to cover as much as I can. But since there's 59 levels, I'll be playing through each level once only, restarting with a password when I stop for the day. So if I miss something or can't fit everything in 10 minutes, oh well. ;) Enjoy. |
